"The property was extremely clean. The staff was attentive. The rooms are cleaned and stocked throughout the day. Staff come by and check to see if you need anything. I loved that. The all-inclusive part is amazing because the food is actually good! I would call myself a picky eater, and sometimes I’m restricted to eating at these all inclusive resorts because of the lack of variety. I did not find that to be the case here. They have real chefs and they care about the quality of food here. They have a hen house- fresh eggs; they have a garden- fresh veggies! Food was amazing. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. They are aware of the complaints of the hotel (will explain below) and they really try to accommodate/make up for those in my opinion. The skybar was amazing, staff was great, drinks were delicious and the infinity pool up there exclusive to privilege guest was great/away from kids/families at the other property. Cons: the Secrets and Dreams resorts are separated by a walkway. So while none of the secrets rooms are connected/around rooms where kids are, there are kids in common areas of the property (restaurants, pool, etc.). There are pools exclusive to Secrets side though. The plunge pool in our room is not really a plunge pool. It is not big enough to plunge in, at all. I would not book that room again. The outdoor area where plunge pool is kinda has a stench. I sprayed perfume & hotel supplies incense. Same with shower. Hot water & incense helped with that. "

"On a scale of 1-10 I wish I could give the W a better than 10! This resort is top tier. The view is beautiful. The beach the property sits on has soft sand, the waves are huge and guest enjoy surfing. The grounds are well manicured and constantly attended to, to ensure optimal comfort for guests. Our room had an amazing layout, with a private plunge pool on the rooftop. The decor in the room was amazing, the detail made it feel like home. The bed was soft, almost making it hard to get out of daily - are the blankets weighted? Probably! The automatic shades make the view from room beautiful without having to get out of bed! The dual shower heads and the outdoor bath tub made relaxation a priority, almost a spa feel! The staff greet you every time you cross paths. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. I wished we could have checked in a little earlier but understand why we couldn’t - other than that, I have no complaints. The hotel did accommodate a late check out so that made up for it tremendously! The food was not bad, very much upscale dining except the breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the French toast and the omelette station daily. We tried 2 dinner restaurants - Spice Market (Jose was great, attentive and a pleasure to see twice) ribeye was great - & Venazu - pizza was to die for, wood fired and fresh deliciousness. Overall we had a positive experience and wish we could have stayed longer! "

"All inclusives sometimes make me nervous about the food / drinks / service but all were amazing. The poolside food service had a large variety of food that was good! Not just the typical burgers and hotdogs. The drinks were real drinks with legitimate alcohol brands and fruit. All the staff was very friendly and hospitable. The only note would be that they do not offer a lot of a la carte restaurant options but that did not matter to me and my family. We ate well at the buffet and had no issue with it. Overall I would definitely stay here again! "
