"The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are modern and clean. The food is exquisite but pricey. Dinner for 2 was 30 percent more than we paid for the room but worth it. The staff seem new or not well trained. It was a bit faulty towers at times. Many young people but when we walked in to the hotel we were kind of ignored for about 10 minutes while 2 people dealt with one customer in french.. we booked for dinner but when we got to the restaurant there were more faulty towers moments when after being ignored again we managed to interrupt someone and were told we’d have to eat inside which was not what we booked. Eventually a manager came and said just wait 10 mins and we will sort it. It took a Long time to get a glass of champagne, like how hard can it be, but I think it’s just they have a bunch of kids working there out of university over summer holidays. Could have given us a glass of something to say sorry .. but it’s very French. You’re a bit of an inconvenience and definitely some of the team have never operated at high level or under stress. But look beyond because the place is so beautiful. I’d definitely come back but next time rock up in my Ferrari and I might get a different reaction. "

"A nice hotel quietly situated just outside the city but only a 25-30 minute stroll to the centre. Rooms are clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The reception area is welcoming and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The bar area and restaurant are very good and there is a nice childrens play area. Outside is a lovely terrace area and pool. All in all a very nice family hotel. Couple of gripes. Firstly the car used to be free but now 13 euros per night. Considering the out of town location I cannot see the reason for this other than money making. Secondly, as with all hotels worldwide, check your bill before leaving. I had 121 euros added to my bill for laundry, which I did not use. In fairness this was immediately refunded buutttt !"

They offer a good variety of food at their breakfast for a reasonable cost, but they also had a kitchen in the basement here we could prepare and store our own food. They also have a coffee machine that was free to use between 7am-11am, whether or not you paid for their breakfast. "We absolutely loved this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! Nestled right where the Netherlands meets Belgium, it’s truly special. What made our stay wonderful was the staff – everyone, from the hotel team to the restaurant crew, was so warm and kind. They made us feel right at home! On our very first day, we were treated to a magical double rainbow over the riverbank across from the hotel. It felt like such a lucky, happy moment! And our room had this lovely telescope – at night, we even spotted a shooting star glide past the Big Dipper. Just beautiful! The room itself was super cozy, and the restaurant? Oh, their sauces were incredible! We still can’t stop thinking about them – so tasty and expertly made. If you’re looking for a place that feels welcoming and full of lovely surprises, this is it. J'ai adoré le petit déjeuner très varié et bien tenu (l'un de mes meilleurs petits-déjeuners en ibis, il y avait même des concombres et des tomates). La chambre 518 était spacieuse, bien agencée et avec une vue dégagée. En revanche je vous conseille de demander une chambre de l'autre côté avec des fenêtres qui s'ouvrent. Comme le stipule la description, il n'y a pas d'air conditionné (mais un ventilateur), cependant pour la température comme pour l'aération il est agréable de pouvoir ouvrir."
