"The perfect middle ground between larger format hotels, and very expensive air-b&b options
Check in staff were excellent. Accommodated a late check in, and were friendly and helpful. The building and the grounds are beautifully up-kept. The design of the room is a little awkward with the shower in the middle of the living space, but that’s the only thing. Hot tub area is private, and super clean too. "

"We stayed at Boswell Cabin West and had a wonderful time—perfect for a group or family of six. The cabin is peaceful and cozy, with no TV but plenty of board games. We spent most of our time on the patio, just soaking in the stunning mountain views. It’s close to great hiking trails, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. There’s a short hike or stairs to reach the parking area, but it’s well worth it. We can’t wait to come back and explore the Grotto and Echo Canyon hikes!

"Nice property. The rooms are a bit dated and the hotel is under construction to add a spa to the basement. On site restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is good. "

"This is our third stay at Blackstone Lodge. We like the location with easy access to the main highway, yet walkable to the restaurants. The hotel is very comfortable especially if you get a room with full kitchen facilities."

"It was a lovely stay. Initially I worried when I saw the train go by right out side the window, but it ended up being a non issue as it was not noisy in the night. "

"Mountain View Inn is a great place to stay in Canmore. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay while in town and go to Banff with ease. We love its close proximity to local restaurants, stores and shuttle bus areas. The room is nice and clean with a mini fridge, microwave and sink. We would stay longer but they were fully booked. Until next time!"
"Amazing property! We stayed in a spacious suite with three bedrooms and a comfortable queen sofa bed. It truly felt like home, with every amenity we could possibly need — especially the large dining table that brought everyone together for memorable family meals. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The whole group loved the stay. Street parking was simple and conveniently located right outside the building, which made coming and going stress-free.
The location was the best part — just a short walk to downtown Canmore, great restaurants, cozy cafés, and the charming main street. Everything was within easy reach, yet the area was peaceful and quiet at night. The mountain views from the property were breathtaking, and stepping outside each morning felt like being in a postcard.
The staff were friendly and responsive, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. This place was the perfect base for exploring both Canmore and Banff. We would absolutely stay here again."

Mark is highly commendable."
