"Loved the contactless check-in/check-out! Exactly what we needed for the tail end of our trip--just a comfortable bed in a clean room near everything we wanted to see! Plenty of space for everything we'd accumulated and super easy to get to!"
"Check in was easy and staff was very friendly and attentive. Nothing fancy about the room but that’s ok, it did have a view of the bay which was nice. The beach was beautiful, clean and a nice place to relax/unwind and also was the sunrise. Would stay here again for sure "
"The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and accommodating to me and my pets, under stressful circumstances.I am so thankful this great new hotel exists, and is run wonderfully! Also it’s so clean and fresh!"
"It was easily accessible on a main route to downtown Traverse City. I did some shopping and went to a comedy show that was excellent. Roads weren't particularly busy."
"Property was clean and the response from the owner was quick when we needed anything.
The only issue is no parking on site and the parking garage down the road is a little expensive, should give a discount for people staying at the hotel."
"Great hotel right on the beach. Beach is awesome right out front. Close to downtown. Rode our bikes everywhere, the TART trail is very flat and paved. Hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious with great views of Grand Traverse Bay. Highly recommend!"
"Our experience at Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City, MI was the best! The beds were amazingly comfortable. The rooms with their vaulted ceilings and balcony made the rooms feel so large. We loved the sitting area in each room. Everything about the Great Wolf Lodge is an experience for kids and adults alike, from walking in the door being greeted with a wolf ear headband to the helpful agents at the check in desk. Our dining experiences were great & delicious. The indoor water park was a highlight for our family, both kids and adults. The "quests" our kids participated in were truly magical. Everyone came home with wands, capes and a touch of magic. An excellent time was had by all from ages 4 to 74. We'll be back!"
"It was wonderful. We were there for a family function not far away, so we were not there for the entire day. Also, keep in mind when you look at my review, I knew before-hand that there was no central air and that we shared (2) bathrooms with others on our floor (3rd floor). Our stay was during August that had 90+ degree days. We had a window air conditioner and a fan in our room that was more than adequate to cool our room in a short amount of time. We would turn off the air conditioner when we left for the day and when we returned, it would take about 10 minutes to cool the room. Due to the fact that they had 2 bathrooms available, there was only one time (in the morning) that I had to wait, no more than 10 minutes, to use the bathroom.
The beach is so nice. Lots of beach chairs there to use.Children played and swam while we watched. There is a raft not very far out that they played on. A teatherball set and the firepits made the beach area complete.
Up at the hotel, they had many chairs and porch rockers on the outside porch that faced the lake. Inside, they also have a "game room" with, as I remembered, a shuffle board table, pool, pingpong and fooseball. I think that there may also have had board games available. What a great area for non-video family fun.
We had a beautiful stay and plan on returning next year."
"The place is awesome. This is my second stay. The upstairs bar and view is second to nothing. I got a late check out and they held my bags for the day after was nice. More staffing to run the downstairs bar and there was no lunch or dinner one day with no staff. For the price an airport shuttle would be nice as Uber is almost not a thing in TC. "
"We stay here for the beach access! Night swims after a long day are hard to beach. The breakfast sent to your room is an amazing touch! This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Love this place and Sugar Beach as well."
"Beautiful property and we had a king corner room with two windows for seeing the waterfront. Rooftop is a great way to wrap up your day. Drinks were a highlight at sunset while the food was just ok (pepperoni flat bread).
We did end up on the fourth floor below the kitchen for the rooftop. That got loud about 8 AM and 9 PM with staff setting up breakfast and cleaning up at night. A little annoying.
Bed had an interesting feature - a night light around the perimeter. Very cool to prevent toe accidents at night. Breakfast was not included and parking is tight so be sure to get your spot early.
"
"The property is beautiful right on the golf course and lake. It was lovely walking through the neighborhood to get to town. The room was delightful and so cozy. The beds were so comfortable! The chocolate chip cookies and treats on the bedside were a huge hit. My daughter loved the snack bar and breakfast. Thank you!"
