I did not know that Raleigh was so good for arts and culture. I loved all the murals downtown! Everywhere you looked, there was color and it gave you a great view of what the city has to offer.

Some interesting eateries and bars as well as historical buildings and tours available. There is a seedier side in some areas with homeless and various people hanging around on the streets, particularly at night, so make sure you're safe/not alone.

The museum of history was unfortunately closed which we did not know about. We enjoyed the Carolina hurricanes game, took a walk around the yates mill, museum of natural science.

Definitely plenty of options to eat within walking distance. Enjoyed our stay. If you want to go to one of the best steak houses. I recommend Angus Barn. Just need to call weeks in advance to secure a reservation. We had the last reservation on 11/1.

Raleigh is a great place to be with lots of options for family fun. We were a little surprised by how aggressive some of the drivers have become. We also saw a lot of homeless people as well as a weird amount of people not using crosswalks.

Since it's on Capital boulevard, there are many places where you can get good, affordable food and Capital boulevard is the main drag to any and every place you would basically need to go to during your stay in Raleigh, NC.

Breakfast was one of the nicest ones we have seen in a while, warm food tasted pretty decent, milk, chocolate milk, an assortment of yoghurts and fruits in the fridge. Fresh fruit as well. Different waffles daily, a toaster that actually works and a pretty and comfortable seating area.
Friendly front desk staff that were always eager to help you. We will definitely stay here again.
