"It's a safe little area. It's loud if u plan to day sleep, it's not gonna happen here. :)
It's an older building and older windows.
AC works great.
Linens new, towels new. Better than my timeshare from Wyndham.
Great for those on a budget."
"We stayed as a family with children 3 & 12. Enjoyed every day, room service was great, the room with a kitchen is very convenient due to the large fridge. We had room with view on the city - still great - 23rd floor. At night, not too loud. AC was working great, 5 elevators are sufficient for the property. Area around is very attractive with lots of options for swimming, dining, shopping and walking. Complementary ice cream and parties on Fridays are joy for kids"
"I loved our view from our balcony to the beach. Staff was very friendly. I also forgot two clothing items in the drawer, by the time I remembered I was already back home. I called the hotel and spoke with housekeeping and they found my items and are preparing to have them mailed back to me. I have to pay a small fee but I'm very grateful they went out of their way to look for it.
They also had complimentary breakfast which was pretty good! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to my friends!"
"A little noise in the morning from delivery trucks making deliveries around the area. After checking out, the bell desk will store your luggage until you are ready to head to the airport. Definitely would recommend anyone wanting to walk to the beach without wanting to walk blocks to get there. "
"Third time staying here in as many years. Great location near the international marketplace, as well as lots of good dining options (check out Zigu a block away for great sushi and drinks). Also just a couple blocks away from prime beach real estate and more shopping choices. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Lea with housekeeping, who went out of her way to learn our names and greet us every time we saw her, as well as Lance at the front desk. Looking forward to our next visit."
"I recently stayed at The Ohia Waikīkī Hotel in a Sky View room with two double beds, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The view from the room on the 15 floor was absolutely stunning — you can see the vibrant Waikīkī skyline and even catch glimpses of the ocean. Waking up to that view every morning was a highlight of my trip.
The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were cozy and perfect for getting a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. 2 balcony’s . The location is ideal — just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants, yet still peaceful enough to feel like a retreat.
The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out easy. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Sky View rooms at The Ohia Waikīkī Hotel if you want great value, comfort, and beautiful views in the heart of Waikīkī. 🌴"
