Downtown Gatlinburg bursts with family-friendly fun at every turn. The neon-lit Parkway buzzes with Ripley's attractions, arcades, and mini-golf courses against a stunning Smoky Mountain backdrop. Stroll between taffy shops and moonshine distilleries while mountain views peek between buildings. SkyLift and Anakeesta offer treetop adventures for those seeking heights and sights.
Hotels with mountain-themed décor sit just minutes from the action. Grab pancakes at breakfast houses or sample local BBQ as you explore. The trolley connects major spots during peak seasons, but most visitors prefer discovering the pedestrian-friendly strip on foot.

I go to Gatlinburg for the National Park not the downtown. if the Gatlinburg strip is your deal that's fine but just know it's very touristy with the usual tourist traps and t shirt shops. If you use Yelp or other apps you will find some good food.

A great location on the west end of the strip. A great walk to everything or the strip shuttles were available. A short drive to Pigeon Forge. Check out the great new dinner show "Women of the Bible" at the Bible Times Theatre. Cades Cove too!

Loved the convenient access to nature trails in the National Park and the drive up to the New Found Gap. Saw a couple of bears near the town. The town itself is very touristy; very crowded. Would recommend not staying right on the strip.

The location is great as it's just a few blocks to the strip. Traffic was very busy, and I can only imagine it's worse in the summer. It was nice to be able to walk and not have to fight traffic and pay for parking. Area felt safe.

Love Gatlinburg! Everything is close enough that you can walk and not worry about finding parking. Unique shops downtown and lots to do with kids! Especially love it in the fall with the changing leaves and a drive up the mountain!

The area is a mix of tacky redneck fun and beautiful natural surroundings. Gatlinburg itself is walkable for those with a moderate fitness level, while Pigeon Forge and Sevierville are 100% car-oriented. Tip - try Mynatt Park!

Skip Big red or whatever Jason Aldean's place had amazing food and staff. Milkshake Mason jar place was delicious and breakfast at any one of the pancake places on main street. Putt putt at Davy Crockett super fun.

Gatlinburg is a great place to visit especially if you're a car buff. If you don't like traffic or people it can be challenging. Getting an Uber was also challenging. But the views and scenery is breathtaking.

A little pricey, all of the attractions we visited had an average price of $39.95 per person. Most businesses close at 9:00 pm so every night was an early night. If we return it will be to camp.
"Very nice option for budget friendly travelers. Love that it’s on the bus route so no need to drive in a busy town. Good at the restaurant was actually super good. Give it a try:) thank you for a good experience. "
"very clean... good location... and the best quiet calming Amenities... the only thing that threw us off on our whole stay at the Hampton Inn in Gatlinburg was the surprising was that we didnt know about the $15 charge per day of our stay for parking! I think its due to the fact that hotels.com says that they excluded the entire price including tax and any extra charges... and that you get hit by surprised with an extra $45 charge for parking(3 nights...) I think HOTELS.COM MUST Include IT IN THEIR TOTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"A great stay! In the heart of Gatlinburg. Next to Anakeesta! Near alk the shops! What more could you ask for? Though I didn't see one on this last day, you may see an actual black bear in the parking lot or in the smoking area!"
"Our stay was excellent. The inn is very close to ‘downtown’ Gatlinburg but far enough away to be relatively quiet. Our room’s balcony directly overlooked the West Prong Little Pigeon River. Staff was great—attentive and prompt. The bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Great for a couple looking to get away. "
"I have stayed Glenstone several times and will stay here again. It's not the newest facility, but it has always been really clean and I like the easy access to down town. "
"The hotel looks outdated but the room itself was nice. Loved having a private balcony. My only complaints would be about the breakfast. One morning did not have juice or creamer for the coffee and our last day there I planned our leave time so we could still enjoy a breakfast before hitting the road and it was not ready at the time advertised.
That being said, I would still definitely stay here again."
"It is a nice hotel. My only complaint whould be that the outside door was very hard to close. You had to slam it to get it to shut. The door to the balcony was extremely hard to open. Other than that it was fine."
"Perfect location. Right in the middle of the fun. You can walk or catch the free trolley. It's walking distance to most places. Great restaurant in the area. The hotel was clean and comfy. I will definitely be back if I'm visiting the area"
"I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised by this facility. It has been newly renovated. The beds are very soft and comfortable, I had no trouble sleeping. The carpet seems new. It was very clean. we had a balcony overlooking a stream, where we saw a bear one morning"
