"This is great place at the mouth of the Russian river. Quiet place from the city to relax. I had a very good night sleep in the very comfortable beds. This is nice place to stay if you going between Point Arena to Occidental.

"The Casa Secoya was a great find. Nice older motel with a pool comfortable grounds. The bed was super comfy and there was plenty of hot water. The staff and other guests were friendly. The view was absolutely beautiful and the hot tub on the deck was the perfect way to end the day!
The only thing missing was the wine bar. I believe it is under construction.

Fire pit and picnic bench in front of each cabin. Just a few steps to Johnson’s Beach. Just a few blocks from Safeway and restaurants. La Bodeguita Mexican restaurant is a MUST. "The property was cute! And there's a Trader Joe's nearby that's convenient. We had a kitchenette that came with a microwave, convection oven, and stagg water kettle! So handy. And a sink for washing! The room was super clean, bed comfy - it's just a renovated motel so it's a bit noisy. But not a dealbreaker. The staff was nice at check in, but we did get a knock on the door from housekeeping waking us at 8 AM on Sunday, the day we were checking out, which wasn't ideal. Overall not so bad though! "

"Very charming comfortable bungalows each with private entry and sliding glass door to outside, many with private hot tub, wifi, tv, mini fridge, dishes and cutlery, ice, bathrobes, quiet comfortable room with kitchenette, clean bathroom, decor and architecture a bit dated but that's part of the charm, large open nature space out back which you can walk to a bluff overlooking the ocean, spectacular place to see sunset. Communal hot tub and workout room, bbq grill and tools at each room. Very friendly staff who live on premises. Convenient store directly across the street for random needs and great sandwiches. Beautiful drive but road is a bit windy getting there from south, if you get carsick be aware. Very relaxing place to stay in this remote magical location. Bring your own toiletries, they provide tiny soap and shampoo."
