"The staff was very kind and helpful. But the room was dirty. And the walls were thin so you can hear all the noise of the others. The room has fire exit and that door has No lock. "I stayed for 3 nights at the St.Regis hotel. The first night I had at the 2nd floor. The room was clean, smelled nice, cozy and convey. The service was very good and fast. "It was pretty property, quite old fashioned and fits in with the vibes of the area. There was an unpleasant strong smell from the bathroom but found that in many places in Istanbul so that wasn’t too great - perhaps to do with plumbing in Istanbul in general?. The view out the window was pretty nice though. It’s a decent hotel, mostly clean. Was really there to sleep and explore the city, decent price. Expect what you pay for. Staff were polite enough and eager to help. "

"Sarp at the restaurant and Ece at the reception was excellent host. However the two boys at the reception was useless. They need proper training how to deal with customers. I requested a quite room and an iron but they didn’t care. They have no idea how to speak to a customer. Whereas Ece and Sarp had gone extra miles to correct errors and deal with difficult situations. They are credit to the hotel team. "
