The internet was excellent, I got to actually do my work. Because it's a residential area, I used the transportation app to call the TT version of Uber. Very convenient. I will be back and with friends!"

"Their property is conveniently located near the airport in a quiet, clean neighbourhood. I did tell them the approximate time of my arrival flight, and I was picked up within a few minutes after I called them. A very friendly personality, as in, in just a few minutes, it felt like I had known her for a while! They also offer a courtesy trip to the nearby mall, etc. "

"What a special place to have stayed! The Pax Guest House is located atop Mount Saint Augustine in one of the nicest locations on Trinidad. Fantastic views from this well-preserved guesthouse that dates to 1925. Fantastic hosts manage this property. They are very helpful and reliable. The guesthouse provides a very delicious breakfast in the morning. Guests should be mindful however that bathroom facilities for some rooms (not all) are shared with other guests. "

The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. "

"Home away from home is how I describe it. Beautiful traditional interior. Room was clean and not musty and quiet. Had a desk and chair which are not guaranteed for inns. Towels were scented. Snacks, coffee and tea available all day. And close to the airport. Would definitely stay here again."

"Kiskadee Korner is a safe, clean and friendly property in the St Clair neighbourhood of Port of Spain. I felt so reassured by the staff’s friendly approach to ensuring a pleasant stay and of course my safety. I appreciated them being there for me late at night when my flight arrived, and also the WhatsApp number they had should I need anything. I really appreciated their communication prior to my arrival to ensure I had a seamless stay. The dual gate system was also a comforting feature of the property, and I also really enjoyed the pool and the tranquility of the property. The pool was by far one of the cleanest pools I have ever enjoyed in all of my travels, and overall the property is pristine and beautifully appointed. The staff will also recommend a reputable transfer company for you should you need one, and I found their recommendation to be incredibly professional and safe. I overall really enjoyed my stay at Kiskadee Korner and I would absolutely return and of course recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this beautiful and safe part of Port of Spain near shops and restaurants to enjoy."

"Its not the first time I've stayed there (the Palms, Trinidad) i call it my 2nd home. Staff are amazingly friend. Room service is on point & the cleanliness is faultless. I would highly recommend. I staff for weeks at a time. There's plenty of delicious eateries around (minutes walk) Although i love staying at the hotel the only disappointment I had was the restaurant, which has been taken over by Tropical Hand. I was not impressed with this company. There are 2 separate companies & i hope this does nit bring the hotel down"

"The property is in the heart of San Juan, but the gps location is not accurate. We were able to call the owner who gave us actual directions to the property. Once we got there, everything improved. The owner contacted you in advance to confirm your stay, so that was nice. I had previously booked the property, and they cancelled it, and raised the rate. I was in a pinch, so I hesitantly rebooked it at the higher rate. The housekeeper, Ms. Doris, is a gem! She is so responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. The property is clean, fully equipped, but slightly outdated. There was plenty of storage space, and a large kitchen. The bathroom was large with a standup shower, and hot running water. There is a large "smart" TV and Wifi (a little spotty). We used a VPN to get our local channels and apps. We got a complimentary breakfast every morning. It was a fulfilling local breakfast and a great way to start the day. There were no laundry facility on the premises, but they offered to wash and fold our clothes. The property is secured with a locked gate and there was indoor parking. There is an outdoor plunge pool that is also secured and covered, with a nice seating area. You should consider renting a car because public transportation is not that available. There are rideshare apps, private taxis, and delivery drivers, but the location is still in the "cut". However, I would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it to my friends and family."

"I had a great stay at this warm, family-run guesthouse. The room was very comfortable, wifi strong and great running water! The hosts were kind and warm plus the location was excellent. Close enough to downtown but far away enough as well! I definitely will be back next time I roll through T&T!"
