"Pros:
1. Cheap
2. Hot water, power and A/C available
3. Free parking
Cons:
1. Dirty beddings
2. Very dirty floor
3. Bedbugs
4. Rusty smell of water. Couldn’t rinse mouth and wash hair.
5. Nothing much to eat out of their free breakfast. Went out to McDonalds for a quick breakfast.
6. Pet fee is publicized $15 on Hotels.com but they charged $25. This is a matter of honesty and credibility."

"It’s a place to stay. It was clean and the staff were friendly. Affordable and the view from the back patio is beautiful. It’s within walking distance of everything, which was nice. We’d stay here again!"

"We had a great time and we'll be back! This hotel is a time capsule from a bygone era. It is not fancy, but it has fantastic people, an incredible view of the Marina, and perfectly located to walk to many wonderful restaurants and shops. They also made accommodations for us to plug in our electric vehicle!"

"A well-appointed house on a canal in a rural area close ( a few minutes) to Port Clinton, with plenty of room for the four of us. Our stay was very short but would definitely choose it again. One point, one of the beds is a full-size mattress turned sideways so very wide but not suitable for adults unless you sleep "across" it. We were there to bird the famous Magee Marsh and Ottawa NWR, it was great for that and if you have a boat you can tie up right there."

"Comfortable beds, excellent amenities in modern bathroom with great water pressure, small TV, dated furnishings, minimal breakfast. But good value for the price. "

"The only complaint we had was the floors were dirty. Other than that it was a great stay. The staff was super friendly."

"The sign out front says this was the number one Independent hotel. I didn’t go to other hotels so I have nothing to compare it too. However, I think they would definitely be in the running. It was very clean. It was reasonably priced. And it had great family attractions, such as a pool with slides, a hot tub, picnic area, and a swingset. I would definitely stay here again.
This was very close to Cedar Point, beds were comfortable, and hotel was clean.
If this hotel could improve anything would be to make shower heads higher and add a few cereals and bread choices (like English muffins) to continental breakfast. Breakfast had limited variety.
Overall. I recommend this hotel.
